This Department seeks to collect, collate, analyse and disseminate information about investment opportunities in and out of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and advising on the availability, choice or suitability of investment partners; so as to capture evolving business opportunities and promote all economic sectors (tourism, agro-processing, light manufacturing, Information and Communication Technology and International Financial Services).

The aim of this Department is to establish an enabling environment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines by seeking to develop, provide and disseminate timely and cost-efficient, accurate investment intelligence/research and up-to-date information to potential and existing investors and local businesses.

Research will conduct the relevant and accurate analyses: economic trends, labour, impact and implications of policy, legislation and regulations related to private investment |

Research will create and manage databases that are easily accessible & responsive to needs of customers |

Export Development Department
Export Department Vision:
To develop the export capacity and improve the competitiveness of export-oriented Business involved in the production of value added products and services in key sectors.
Responsibilities
The promotion of the Sectors that have high Export Potential i.e. the Creative Industry

Focus on select sectors within the National Export Strategy (NES) framework. |

Focus on select companies with potential for significant export growth by providing value added services |

Leverage resources by accessing TA/grant funds to carry out developmental initiatives |
